U7 (2019/2020 Born)

Hello Bobcat Families,

For the families with players entering second year of Bocats Welcome Back and for the 1st year players Welcome! I’m here to help answer questions and guide parents, players and coaches through the hockey process at the U7 level.

To start the year off, registered players will be given 3 ice times, or ‘pre-skates’ before the season, to get the rust off or just get on the ice. There is no ‘tiering’ at the U7 level, so there are no formal evaluations or tryouts. For the most part players will be placed together based on their year of birth.

You can plan to be at the rink Sept 29, Oct 1 and Oct 2. Lists will be sent out at a later date with your players ice times, so watch for that. 

Teams will be selected shortly after the preskates are completed and you can expect to hear from your child’s coach that first week of October.
