SMHA Executive Director, Kelly Boes, has made the decision to retire.  Kelly has been SMHA's E.D. for 20 years.  SMHA has grown from 216 to 262 total teams and from 3300 to 3900+ players during his tenure.

"Thank you to all of the coaches, volunteers, parents and players I have had the pleasure of working with during my time with SMHA.  The success of SMHA is truly a collective effort.  Thank you also to the SMHA Boards of Directors for their vision over the years that has continually placed player development at the forefront during my time here", said Boes.  "I believe I am leaving SMHA in a better place than I found it".

Kelly will be staying on with SMHA as long as required for a smooth transition to take place.

SMHA thanks Kelly for all of his efforts and time he has invested into minor hockey in Saskatoon since 2006.  We wish him and his wife, Charlene, all the best in the next chapter of their lives.
